Photovoltaic shade from the OPCA company (37)
The project
OPCA is a company specialized in precision mechanics, particularly in the manufacturing of parts for the aerospace and aeronautics sectors. In 2023, following the increase in energy costs, OPCA decided to turn to ENER 5 Photosol to create a photovoltaic generator to reduce the cost of its energy bills.

A Carport That Powers 38% of the Factory’s Consumption
In the summer of 2024, ENER 5 Photosol completed a photovoltaic installation spread across two buildings:
- A monopitch carport oriented Southeast with 156.2 kWp
- A building extension oriented Southeast with 62.3 kWp
- A total installed peak power of 218.5 kWp
- 491 JA Solar modules of 445 Wp
- 1 Huawei SUN2000-100KTL-M2 inverter and 1 Huawei SUN2000-50KTL-M3 inverter
The factory has an annual consumption of 393 MWh. This installation is expected to produce 250 MWh per year.
Self-consumption should represent 148 MWh, or 38% of the factory’s consumption, and 59% of the energy produced by the photovoltaic generator. Energy sold to the grid is expected to be 102 MWh, or 41% of the energy produced by the photovoltaic generator.
