The project
Damien, a farmer and cattle breeder in Gers, has realized an ambitious and innovative project. As part of the construction of a new agricultural building to house his equipment and store his cereals, he decided to take advantage of this infrastructure to engage in the production of green energy.
By installing a 280.03 kWp photovoltaic power plant on the roof of this building, fully self-financed, Damien is fully committed to a sustainable approach. This initiative allows him to sell the electricity produced while generating an additional source of income. This project not only reflects his commitment to the energy transition but also his desire to secure the future of his farm.
Through this project, Damien demonstrates that it is possible to combine economic performance and environmental responsibility by utilizing his agricultural infrastructure to actively participate in renewable energy production.
